The TCS team has been working to continually bring improvements to the UWT-100.

We are offering an upgrade for all UWT-100's. The improved UWT-100 encoder utilizes a magnetic sensor instead of a mechanical one. A worn-out mechanical encoder might show symptoms such as “skipping” or “jumping.” The new magnetic encoder does not have contacts to wear out.

A UWT-100 with the magnetic encoder will out-last any other throttle on the market today.
