DP5X was the first true Plug-'N-Play decoder designed
to fit
a broad number of locomotives and manufacturers. First introduced
in January of 2000, it is the decoder of choice for many
installations. TCS was the leader in the design and development
of this decoder form factor. The DP5X is a full-featured
5-function decoder with a full array X series lighting effects.
It also has the TCS-exclusive Dither (adjustable digital
pulse power) feature which provides
outstanding slow-speed control unmatched by any other decoder.
