Important Installation note: We recommend placing small piece of Kapton tape between the motor leads and the locomotive frame. There is virtually no clearance and a possible short can occur which will damage the decoder. Click here for more information and pictures. VO-1000 is four function decoder. Comes with sunny white surface mount LED'S for realistic front and rear lights. MSRP $34.95. We recommend CV56=3, CV57=50 for Dither (digital pulse power) settings.

Arrows point to function pads. This is a small decoder but we were still able to make it with four functions. Because the space is tight the solder pads for the extra functions had to be small. Use good care when soldering onto these pads. Avoid solder bridges to adjacent pads!
