Speed related information for the E-R Models Sharknose:
These locomotives have a high gear ratio which means that at full speed they may not run as fast as some of your other N scale locomotives. At top speed they should be hitting something in the range of 90 scale miles per hour. One benefit of this high gear ratio is that the low speeds on these engines are smoother and slower than any we have ever seen when coupled with our BEMF enabled decoder.
