Picture 9f-1
This is the Bachmann 9f steam locomotive, decoder installation is very easy. I
used a TCS-M1P-UK decoder. First remove the screw retaining the leading pony
truck. (Red arrow). Then remove the 2 body retaining screws, (Blue Arrows). The
body should then lift off.

Picture 9f-2 Remove the decoder plug, and plug in the TCS decoder. There is
plenty of room within the boiler to house the decoder and the wiring loom. Refit
the body and the retaining screws, and then the pony truck and the screw. The
locomotive should now be ready to run and programme.
