This loco comes supplied with six 1.5 volt light bulbs. No resistors are needed for this installation! All the wires to the bulbs are black. It is a little tricky to determine what wires go to what pads. One side of each of the six bulbs must go to the on board 1.5 volt power supply pad. One set of  wires coming from the rear light bulbs was extended (yellow wire) to reach the 1.5 volt power supply pad. The other side of the bulbs was soldered to the rear light tab. One side of each ditch light was connected to function pads 3 and 4. These wires were extended to reach those pads (pink and brown wires). One side of all four bulbs in the front of the loco (two ditch lights and two headlights) were soldered together, extended ( white wire) and solder to the 1.5 volt power supply pad.   One side of the two head light bulbs are soldered to the headlight tab.
