The Classic N is a revolutionary new type of N-Scale decoder. It is a lighting board replacement decoder for "classic" split lighting board locomotives. It requires a small amount of soldering, but it circumvents the need for milling. Currently confirmed positive CN installations are: Atlas GP7/GP9 Old Style, Atlas GP30/GP35 Old Style, Atlas SD35, Atlas SD60, Atlas B30-7, Kato C30-7 and U30C, Atlas early GP38, Atlas GP40 DCC-READY, Atlas SD9 DCC-READY, Atlas SD50, Atlas SD60M, Intermountain SD40T-2, Atlas B40-8, and Atlas GP38.The CN comes with onboard sunny white, super-bright, forward and reverse LEDs. The CN-GP follows in the same style as the Classic N decoder. This decoder features a split decoder, designed to fit in split lighting board GP Locomotives. As with the CN a small amount of soldering is required, but it is still far easier than milling the frame and adding LED's. The CN-GP comes with onboard sunny white, super-bright, forward and reverse LEDs. The CN-GP features the TCS exclusive auto-adjusting BEMF for incredible slow speed control.
