Which version of the WOWSound decoder do you have? (Read CV 7 to find the firmware version)

Select the feature you want to program. Select the settings you wish to apply, and then program CV's 201, 202, 203, and 204 IN ORDER

Description: Set how long the decoder should wait without a command before turning its sound off (256 = approx. 3 minutes): NOTE: This feature must be enabled in the "Options and Throttle Mode -> User Options" menu for it to apply.
Default Value: 256 Range of Values: 0-65535
Select the timer value by moving the slider below or entering the desired value in the text box:
Description: Adjust the temperature at which the decoder will shutoff the sounds to protect itself.
Default Value: 800 Range of Values: 65535
Use the slider or the text box to select the new Global volume
Description: Configure the abilities of your locomotive
Default Value: 699 Range of Values: 0-65535
Check the boxes of the options you want activated

Description: Select what buttons play sounds and activate lights simultaneously
Default Value: 515 Range of Values: 0-65535
Check the box of the functions you want to be "Dual enabled" Note: F13-F28 are reservered for sounds only

Description: At approxmiately this BEMF value the decoder should be in notch 1.

Description: At approxmiately this BEMF value the decoder should be in notch 8.

Description: This determines at what speed step notch is played in traditional operation mode.
Default Value: 0 Range of Values: 0-126
Use the slider or the text box to choose the speed step at which you want to transition to this notch.
Description: This determines at how fast your speed will change in .
Default Value: 0 Range of Values: 0-255
Use the slider or the text box to choose the amount of momentum. The larger the number the slower the speed change.
Description: This controls what notch the Prime Mover goes to when Dynamic Brakes are applied. If a value of 9 is entered the decoder will choose it's own notch setting based on the current throttle mode.

Default Value: 3 Range of Values: 0-9
Description: In prototype mode this controls how much the locomotive speed effects the notch. The greater the value the greater the effect.
Default Value: 9 Range of Values: 0-255
Description: In prototype mode this adjusts how much acceleration/deceleration effects the speed of the locomotive.
Default Value: 20 Range of Values: 0-255
Description: In prototype mode this controls when notch changes are made due to load/BEMF changes. The higher the number the later the change.
Default Value: 50 Range of Values: 0-255
Description: Defines how sensitive the decoder is to its load. The greater the number the less sensitive the decoder is to loads. By increasing the sensitivity your decoder will switch notch sounds more often.
Default Value: 80 Range of Values: 0-255
Description: Adjust the chuff rate at a particular speed step

Note: We highly recommend using Audio Assist™ to adjust chuff timing instead of using these adjustments. Audio Assist™ is much easier!

Use the slider or text box to enter a new chuff timing value:
Description: This CV controls multiple WOWSound Timers. It effects all Random Sounds, and the Auto Audio shut-off from inactivity timer. The higher the number the longer the timer/more time it takes for each timer feature.
Default Value: 768 Range of Values: 0-65535
Use the slider or the text box to select a new WOWSound timer pre-scaler. The higher the number the slower the timer is.
Description: This controls how often a random sound is played. By default the random sounds are:
Random sound 1 = Air Compressor
Random Sound 2 = Air Spitter
Random Sound 3 = Unused
Random Sound 4 = Unused
Default Value: 20 Range of Values: 0-255
Use the slider or the text box to choose a new random sound frequency. The higher the number the higher the frequency that it will be played.
Description: This controls at what speed step the random sounds will cut out
Default Value: 15 Range of Values: 0-126
Use the slider or the text box to select the speed step at which the Random Sounds cut out. Note: if operating in 28 speed step mode multiply the speed step you want by 4.5 to find its 128 speed step equivalent
Description: This determines which light function on the decoder will be used as a Crew Alert light.
Default Value: 13 Range of Values: 0-13

Description: This sets the frequency of the Crew Alert.

Use the slider to select how long the engineer must be idle before the crew alert sounds:
Description: WOWSound decoders feature many user controllable automatic sounds. Select which ones you want active to customize your locomotive.
Default Value: 896 Range of Values: 0-65535
Check the box of the Automatic sounds you want enabled:

Description: The Cylinder Cocks cut-out controls which speed step the cylinder cocks automatically turn off at
Default Value: 16 Range of Values: 0-126
Use the slider or the text box to select what speed the Cylinder Cocks automatically shut off at:
Description: This CV controls how long the locomotive must sit idly before it automatically turns the Cylinder Cocks on at the next manuever.
Default Value: 256 Range of Values: 0-65535
Use the slider or the text box to select how long your locomotive must be stopped before the Cylinder Cocks will automatically turn-on at the next manuever. The higher the number the longer it will take. (a value of 256 is about 3 minutes)
Description: This controls what speed step the brake grinding noise starts playing while the loco is decelerating with the brake on
Default Value: 15 Range of Values: 0-126
