"GP" Style, split lighting board locomotive.

The "GP" style locomotive frame is characterized by the the shortness of the space for a decoder, the lack of metal nubs, and the way the tab holding sections of the frame fall away quickly. As you can see on the left the GP style frames do not have as much space as the RS, and they do not have sections of metal right under the decoder housing typical of a U-Boat style frame.

For this type of frame install the CN-GP Decoder while following the Classic N Installation Guide.
