This installation of TCS M1P-SH Reversed Decoder is for HO Scale Rivarossi 2 Truck Heisler and was performed by A.G
All together again. Fantastic slow running with the geared drive. Front and rear axles driven as in prototype, 2nd and 3rd axles powered by the tie-rods. Independent trucks with universal joints on the drive shafts. Wheel diameter is about 12mm. ; circumference is then about 37.69mm.; 28 seconds to revolve once at speed step 1; 37.69mm divided by 28 seconds equals 0.001346 m/s; gives a prototype speed of 0.117m/s.
The three upper pictures show the beautiful and very well made Rivarossi 2 Truck Heisler with its shell on.
Using a phillips screw driver, remove the screw inside the stack.
Remove the whole stack assembly as shown in the picture above.
Gently remove the piping from the air tank and lift the front of the boiler upward to disengage the wire braces that holds it to the frame, then pull forward to release the pegs and handrails from the cab.
Gently pull the rear sandbox (mark in red) from the back of the bunker
The picture above shows the sand box removed from the bunker.
Remove the water tank hatch as shown in the picture above.
Using phillips screw driver remove the screw that holds the bunker to the chassis.
Remove the small air tank from the right front of the cab, under the running board.
Remove the front screw (marked in red) then lift the cab and bunker off the frame.

Remove the 8PIN NMRA plug as shown in the picture above.
The picture above shows 8PIN NMRA socket where Pin#1 is marked.
Insert TCS M1P-SH Reversed decoder so that PIN#1 is lined up with orange wire.
Here is a picture of finished decoder installation. Black electrical tape was placed over the decoder so that it cannnot be seen through the cabin's windows. Reverse these steps to reattach the parts.
