This installation of TCS A6X digital decoder is for HO-Scale Atlas FP7 and was performed by Ronald Burns of Austintown, Ohio

Start with drive unit forward end to your left.

Un-solder all wires

On the plastic shelf, at the rear of unit, cut out center lip.

Do not cut off both ends of the plastic lip.

This will act as a guide for the decoder.

Use Silicone type sealant, two sided tape or roll clear tape to mount decoder.

With hot solder iron, apply solder to each pad that you will use.

Applying solder first, will make wire soldering easier.

Follow decoder instructions and solder all 4 track lead wires.

Then solder a wire from the motor lead that is away from you to the decoder motor lead on your right.

Then finish soldering the last motor lead from the unit to the decoder.
