Decoder Installation

 

If you own a locomotive that is not listed on the “Installation Pictures” page – please, contact us!

We will send you one free TCS decoder of your choice if your installation pictures are used on the TCS web site.

Requirements:

We will no longer accept .PDF files for installations!!!

We need high resolution – high quality files (.JPG) that are in-focus.

Clear step by step instructions from the start to the finish (one needs to explain exactly what needs to be done to get the decoder in the locomotive).

Text is required and should include sufficient information to address special considerations or techniques needed for installations.

Email us any extra information about the locomotive that you might know (eg. Release date, if it is special edition run, special paint scheme etc.)

Please include a picture of the chassis with the original light board installed, in original condition, and with paint scheme (we would prefer not to use unpainted engines).
We use ONLY TCS decoders for installation pictures.

Email us before any submissions to confirm that we need certain locomotive.

Place "Decoder Picture Submission" as an email subject.

Include your name, city and state of residence for acknowledgment credit. Or specify to remain anonymous.
When sending the locomotive to us for installation, make sure that the locomotive comes with original light board, in original condition, and with paint scheme (we would prefer not to receive undercoated engines).  TCS reserves the right to decide what is published on the web site. Anyone submitting information to be used used on this web site acknowledges they are doing so for free, for the use of all TCS customers.

 

Because of the fact that we are very busy at the moment, the installation might take up to 6 weeks to be posted on our website.
